J Maime asked: I thought it was kind of naughty to play Sweet Home Alabama as the theme music for the ads, considering the song was written in rebuttal to a song opposing racism (Alabama, by Neil Young). Also, it’s Kentucky Fried Chicken, not Alabama Fried Chicken.
Actually, Sweet Home was written in response to both Southern Man and Alabama, but I had meant to say Southern Man instead.
Redmarc316, I believe you are right, and I do feel the same way. I also think the ****** music in the ads is intentional, but I could be wrong.
Rev JESSEE, that’s not true. They also have music from a song that was written as a negative response to two songs by Neil Young which decried racism.

I think Colonel Harlan Sanders would roll over in his grave several times if he knew what KFC, has done to Kentucky Fried Chicken. Gone downhill ever since they changed their name, I don’t even enjoy going there anymore. Any others out there agree???

If KFC had offended the iggers-nay, there’d be big headlines and Jesse would be making demands.
So the answer to your question must be no.

Come on, KFC commercials have nothing but us and fried chicken in them. How could they be ******?
