You can sue for anything you want. It doesn’t mean you’ll get any $ orit’ll be a total waste of time. First thing you have to do is get a lawyer. There’s $250 bucks. And take it from there. Good Luck!

Yes, but it wouldn’t be worth it. Companys nowadays are so powerful, they would win over you. Plus, suing somebody costs A TON of cash. Good luck!

I don’t think it would be worth your time, money or effort. If you made this at home..that’s why you need to wash the meat before cooking..I have found small feathers on chicken..just pluck em out.

Oh, lovely! Just what our courts and greedy trial lawyers need; another frivolous lawsuit!!!

Did you choke on the feather and require medical attention? If so, you may have a case!

If not, don’t waste everyone’s time and resouces, including your own! And besides, even if you were to win such a case, how much do you think a jury will award you? After attorney fees and such, you might make a few dollars (literally)!

So why not forget about trying to get some money out of a restaurant and get on with life (and get a job if you don’t have one already)!!!

I co-own three restaurants, one of which actually specializes in chicken (it’s a “wing place”). Most restaurants get their raw food–whatever it is–from a distributor; the distributor gets it from the factory where it was processed and packaged.

Every so often, I encounter chicken pieces (especially wings) with very fine, hair-like feathers still attached. They’re harmless, but they’re unappealing to look at. It’s not the fault of the restaurant, or even the distributor…it’s impossible to hand-inspect literally thousands of pieces of chicken. And the packaging facility DOES inspect the food before it’s packaged, but since there are human beings involved, occasionally a few pieces may be missed.

In short, the feather/feathers you found are a natural occurrence, and you did not suffer any injury or illness. So, you would probably have a very hard time successfully suing anyone.

Sue away. You won’t get squat but if it makes you happy go for it. Make a lawyer a little richer, they really need it!

Of course, but it would probably be a waste of your time and money and you probably wouldn’t win because chickens have feathers!!!!!
