I have these speakers in the front kick panels of my doors. They are running off of a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP head unit. I have 2 JL audio VR 6×9’s in the back running off of a 200 watt Rockford amp. The VR’s sound great but it sounds to me like the Kenwoods aren’t giving me all they can and I think it’s because they’re just running off of the head unit. I don’t want to get one big amp to run everything because I can’t afford one. I was thinking about just getting a small, maybe 60 watt amp. Is that enough, too much, or should I not amp them at all?
