Not a logical argument. How do you know they are? I could just as easily say that McDonald’s has rat meat in their burgers. How do you know that they don’t?

Kentucky Fried Chicken does not raise its own chickens. They have contracts with chicken farms. Now you need to explain what you mean by cruel. A mistreated chicken will have many bruises and cuts. That translates to tough chicken. Something they don’t want.
You sound like the people who protest minks as mistreated rodents. Same applies here. A mistreated animal produces an ugly fur.
So you see your story has no weight.
