Do you honestly think the Grilled Chicken from KFC is healthier than their other stuff?
Becky S asked:
or is it like the person who eats a caesar salad and puts the dressing on it and the cheese and the chicken?
are they just fooling themselves into thinking they’re healthier?
I personaly do not think much of anything from a fast food joint is too healthy

It’s healthier because it doesn’t cook in and absorb the fat. Instead, it cooks the fat out through the grill.

They should think that the grilled is healthier. Just look at the info, grilled sandwich 380 calories, classic sandwich 440, big crunch 610, spicy big crunch 650, grilled 9 grams of fat, classic 23, big crunch 31, spicy big crunch 33. I’d say the grilled is healthier. How could something being grilled instead of fried not be better for you?

Yes, just like all fast food pretty much - they lure you in with the healthy stuff, then cram the deep fried stuff down your throat anyways. A true Caesar salad made the old school way is very healthy and never contained meat except for the anchovies. Yes, I still make mine with raw eggs and have never gotten sick.
This is close to what I have made - I double the lemon juice tho -
CAESAR SALAD DRESSING
Mix in blender and refrigerate. When serving salad add anchovies to salad. Add to taste to salad. Excellent, keeps well.
CAESAR SALAD:
1 lg. head romaine lettuce
2 c. croutons
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Tear lettuce in bite sized pieces in a salad bowl, add croutons, add dressing, toss to coat.

Maybe you should go ask the meet-eating section what vegetables are the healthiest.

Um, it is healthier. Fast food as a rule is unhealthy, sure. That doesn’t mean that some things aren’t better to eat than others. In the grand scheme of things, it’s still meat so I’m not going to eat it, but why should you or I care if some people save themselves some fat and calories by eating grilled meat instead of fried.

I like how almost no one answered the actual question and instead just saw this as an opportunity to railroad the meat and fast food industries. You’re a moron if you think Grilled Chicken is worse than Fried Chicken. Grilled chicken is just that…. grilled, with fire. Fried chicken is fried in fats and oils. Of course grilled chicken is healthier. I don’t think I would say it’s healthy, but that’s not what you asked. You asked if it was healthier, and it definitely is.
However, I’d also like to note that if you grill chicken at home it can be very healthy. The only reason KFC’s is not is because of all the spices and salts they add to it. If you grill at at home it’s almost 0% fat and low in sodium and everything else.
