    It’s never okay to eat fried chicken at KFC. That stuff is nasty. If you were going to Popeye’s that would be a different story.

    No and read on as KFC is in trouble with the FTC for making false claims about their food:

    The FTC’s complaint charged KFC with making false claims that eating KFC fried chicken, specifically two Original Recipe fried chicken breasts, is better for a consumer’s health than eating a Burger King Whopper. One ad featured a woman putting a bucket of KFC fried chicken down in front of her husband and announcing, “Remember how we talked about eating better? Well, it starts today!” The ad then states that “Two KFC ******* have less fat than a BK Whopper.” Although it is true that the two fried chicken ******* have slightly less total fat and saturated fat than a Whopper, they have more than three times the trans fat and cholesterol, more than twice the sodium, and more calories.

    That being said, it is yummy for occasional eating.

    Fast food is not notorious as being healthy food. Nutrition and well balanced diet is key.

    If your not trying to gain weight you really should limit your intake of greasy food to no more than twice a week. If you are trying to gain weight you should consult a physician for a healthy way to gain weight.

    sure why not? I mean hey if you are unconcerned about the overall effects of fried foods I do not see why you would have to worry about it. I mean hey just eating carrots will lead you to an early grave along with orange bodily excretions so why not? In the end its your life, how you want to live it is your choice. Is it healthy? Well healthier then not eating that is for sure!
    Fried food in general is not healthy, but KFC is making billions off it daily around the world. General population size in America is swelling due to fast food and bad eating habits.

    Watch the movie Fast Food Nation, maybe Super Size me and see an informative and amusing answer to your question.

    No its not really healthy, but then anything in too much volume is not good either.

    KFC Extra Crispy Chicken Wing
    cal: 220; totalFat: 140; fatCal: 15;

    KFC Extra Crispy Chicken Breast
    cal: 470; totalFat: 240; fatCal: 28;

    Mash Potatoes/gravy
    cal: 120; totalFat: 50; fatCal: 6

    So, on a 2,000 calorie diet with moderate exercise to maintain weight, just in calories you are at 820 calories before a soft drink.

    Better than the BigMac combo (1,600 calories).

    Certainly not, you will (unless you have a very good genetic disposition) get heart disease from all the saturated fat found in fried food.

    It is not healthy. but who cares. if you like it just keep doing it, in fact you miay as well fill your bathtub with raw chicken and potatoes and soak in it for approximately 3 or 4 and a half hours. but be sure and cover your ear holes with duck tape so as not to get the raw chicken juice in to yuor head - beczuse THAT would be unhealthy.

    Just ONE order of Mashed potatos and 2 pieces of fried chicken everday?? That’s not alot of calories, really. No, not at all if you eat your other 2 meals (2 more meals only) healthy and low in calories. Just keep active throughout the day when you can and you won’t get fat at all if you do this.

    probably not, but if you exercise every day & otherwise eat healthy, it might not be so bad

    Dear AnVile Dale,

    No, it is not healthy for you. KFC uses hydrogenated oil to cook its chicken. This oil is very bad for your cardiovascular system. The gravy that you put on your mashed potatos is very high in saturated fat also. You might ask for the gravy on the side so that you can put on a lesser amount. I would suggest that you do not eat at KFC more than 1 time per week. One nneds variety in their diet. “And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
