Corbin, Kentucky, not 20 miles from my house.
I’ve been to the original KFC thousands of times.
Edit: Brixity, actually, it originated in North Corbin, Kentucky. HQ for KFC is in Louisville though.

Hence the name KENTUCKY friend chicken. It originated in Louisville, Kentucky..

Yeah I was just there last week. It was founded in Utah (little known fact). I actually went to the first KFC. I they food is pretty good.
