Your friends or colleague might have been sitting down somewhere already, waiting for you to go order it. Unless you were the only one in the whole restaurant. Why are you so uptight about that?

You might have had friends already sitting down in the restaurant, or like someone else said, they HAVE to ask, it’s part of their job. Now, if you had ordered all that and then said, “Oh, and a small diet coke too”, then I could see why they would be confused and ask it!

No, but I like the weird looks I get from them when I place an order in the drive through and finnish by saying “I want this to go please.”
