Just watch and learn. Don’t be shy to ask questions. You were not born to have knowledge about KFC.

What is most important when working at KFC is knowing what you are doing. If you are assigned to fry chicken, then make sure that you know every thing about it- and always ask questions because no one knows what you are thinking, and no one knows what you need until you ask.
Always be polite to your fellow co-workers and always be on time. One more thing, ask if you can have something to read to take home with you so you can sharpen your skills before you return to work again. When you do things like what I just mentioned, you will gain favor with your manager and he or she will look to promote you because you are interested in the business.

Get to bed early. Leave your house early so you never have to worry about coming to work late. get to work early and from the time you get there ask the manager if there is anything you can do to help. Learn to ignore those who half-step and get used to working in a way that even if no one else does their job properly…you will. Do not hang out with those who simply collect a check. Lay down with dogs, you will get fleas. Get a buisness and mind it…your own. Learn to handle the worst customers with a smile and always ask them after they get their order if they need any more help all they have to do is ask.
I say this because you are not working for KFC…you are setting patterns that will follow you all the days of your life…you are working for you…for what you do to others…stays with you. Being prompt, hard working…kind and courteous, fills you with the kind of character you would want loking across the counter at you…wherever you go in life. I did not read this on a web-page…this comes from my own experience.
And no matter what happens when you leave KFC…leave the same way you came…grateful to have had a job…and enthusiastic for the next stop in your journey.
Though it sounds like I am handing out advice…I am not. You asked…and this is my answer. Whatever you do…and wherever you go…have a good life.
Peace.

KFC is like McDonalds.. working smartly.. that should be easy to do as there is, in reality, no model to follow. Working smartly, then, is to be clean, courteous to the customers, work efficiently and do not partake in the food itself as long as you are on the job, that is.
