anyway, ther’s 8 pieces of chicken. 4 thigh and 4 leg. the thighs look very small compared to how they used to be. they’re almost as small as the leg.
so they’re jacking up the prices, and lowering the quality… nice. I’m never eating there again.

Prices always go up. That’s life.
However I didn’t even realize that the pieces were getting smaller. Maybe you’re right.
Maybe chickens just dont grow as big as they used to? lol
If I got a bucket of tiny chicken I’d complain and ask for another piece.

I totally agree. I rarely eat fast food, but I saw a co-worker eating a 4 piece and I swear that chicken looked like it was a robin instead of chicken. They probably call themselves jacking up the prices because they have supposedly lowered the fat.

Well, maybe they were running short and since you ordered eight pieces, maybe they just put all that they had left in there even though it was smaller. We have to do that sometimes when we are so almost out of something (such as onions). Our burritos just get a little less onions in order to make them last until our next shipment comes in. Prices are going up though and things are getting smaller. At Taco Bell, our Nachos and Cheese went up, however, the bags got smaller! And our Quesadilla combo was only $4.29 for the longest time, but yesterday I realized that it is now $4.79! Inflation is causing the prices of everything to go up; food, clothes, gas, etc. Unfortuante and sad, but true!

prices are going up so maybe the chickens are being killed before they reach maturity.

Peta is lobbying chicken feeding methods and due to them, chicken are getting smaller each year.

Perhaps they are using petite chickens.

Yes, I’ve noticed that too. The last time I went there I was really surprised at how little chicken I received, but the price was the same.
