How do I get rid of the oil I just consumed in KFC chicken?

jubilie asked:

I felt very sick right after eating.

I don’t think it’s something I can burn off because it’s not just the fat but unhealthy fried oil. I felt my arteries die off a little because it was so oily and cloggy. This happens to me when I have other unhealthy fried foods, especially when the oil is used again and again.

Does anyone know what I mean?

Juan

Exercise will help. So will some veggies or salad or whole-wheat bread, or even oatmeal–fiber to move the stuff through your system.

you can jog half a mile in the fresh breeze or get a treadmill :).
in the future soak out all the grease in the chicken with a napkin. (this may sound really gross!)

take an antacid like tums. This will help neutralize the acid in your stomach and likely make you feel better.

As others have said you can absorb some of the grease with napkins. This could help some.

My suggestion would be to limit your consumption of fried foods if they give you indigestion. Do you get acid reflux ever? If so you will probably find that certain foods will trigger a reaction. Often fatty, fried foods, spicy foods, and acidic foods are a culprit.

I’m sure you don’t feel like exercising at the moment although exercising is certainly good for you when you feel better.

If you do crave fried stuff I would fry it at home yourself. Use canola oil b/c it has monounsaturated fat which is more heart healthy. Also by not reusing the oil you will avoid oxidizing free radicals which can be carcinogenic (cancer-causing).

try orlistat- ALI- its an over the counter diet pill that blocks some of the fat you ingest from being absorbed. Its a little pricey, and dont take it if you are underweight.
