Select the option that says “KFC gravy recipe” This tastes just like the real thing. Then you will again have to click on KFC gravy recipe. It will show a pictures of baked beans, but just below that is the gravy recipe. If there are other sites that have the same name, the one I am talking about uses beef gravy in the recipe. I think that is why the gravy is a brownish color rather than the usual white/cream color of chicken gravy.

The McCormick’s brown gravy mix that comes in the red envelope from the grocery store is quite close.

KFC Gravy Recipe
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon Mies seasoned flour
chicken stock
1 pinch sage
black pepper
Cook butter until melted and bubbling. Whisk in seasoned flour and cook a few seconds till light brown. Whisk in chicken stock slowly till desired consistency, add sage, and black pepper.

It is simply white gravy with some herbs blended in. sort of tasteless stuff.
1/4 cup butter melted
1/4 cup flour blended into the melted butter.
salt and white pepper to taste
In heavy skillet, heat the flour/butter mixture then stir in about 2 cups milk, cook and stir until it is thickened like you wish. Add the salt and white pepper and any other seasonings you wish.
