I love KFC’s coleslaw. And I’m looking for a recipe like it to make at home. If you ever had KFC’s coleslaw you’ll know what I mean.
Not just ordinary coleslaw. It’s KFC coleslaw. It has a sweet kinda creamy taste. Ive tried I just cant get the ingrediants right to taste exactly

Go to the store and buy the clowslaw mix (just the veggies in the bag) then go and buy the Coleslaw dressing.
Its that easy…all clowslaw is the same.

    Low Carb KFC-Style Cole Slaw

16 ounces cole slaw mix (shredded cabbage with carrot)
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/3 cup Splenda granular (or use sugar if you like!)
    1 tbsp. onion powder
    1 tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. celery seed (optional)
    1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
    3 tbsp. lemon juice

Pulse cole slaw mix in a food processor until finely chopped, or chop by hand.
Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl with a whisk.
Add cole slaw mix, stirring well.
    Chill several hours before serving.

It’s “all in the dressing” ! I used to work at KFC..many many years ago.
    Ingredients for coleslaw…..grated cabbage, carrot ( not sure…but I think there’s a little onion)
    Ingredients for dressing…..mayonaise,vinegar,sugar
    That’s it…and it’s YUMMY!

The secret ingredient is…..Horseradish…in the dressing, along with a little sugar and white vinegar and a really good mayo…not that miracle whip stuff…Hope this helps..Sherry N
