How do I make crispy fried chicken?

fried chicken
asked:

I tried pre-cooking the chicken but it just does not come out right. I want the chicken to be tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.

soak chicken parts in buttermilk for 3 hours (optional) then drain off excess buttermilk
make coating by mixing flour with salt, pepper, paprika, onion and garlic powder - make sure to add enough of this so that flour looks well seasoned.

heat up oil or your deep fryer to get very hot!

dip chicken into flour then fry about 8-10 minutes per piece.

Take the skin off and double-dip the chicken in a flour batter coating before frying.

If you’re frying it, you don’t precook it. You sprinkle some salt & pepper on it; dredge it in seasoned flour; then in an egg wash; then dredge in Panko crumbs (lighter and make a crispier crust). Then fry them in canola oil……. If you want oven fried chicken, use Dixie Fry, which is near the Shake & Bake. But, it puffs up like fried chicken, and isn’t crumbly like Shake & Bake

… I’m actually making fried chicken tonight!

Dip the chicken in egg followed by flour. Deep fry until crisp and then stick in the oven at 350 degrees for between 30 and 35 minutes.

After I fry it and get it nice and brown, I put it on a rack over a cookie sheet in the oven uncovered to finish cooking and get crispy.

Salt the chicken, then dip it in flour, then egg, then flour again, and fry it until a fork goes in easily.

Jenn answer is completely right, that how I do it!

Soak in scrambled eggs than white flour then fry. Make sure that the oil is completely hot then toss in the chicken.
but I don’t put it in the oven. The fire has to be high and you have to cover the pan so the chicken can cook. Then turn when one side is brown not light brown but brown.

The easiest way to do it is to dip chicken in flour, then in the egg wash then your coating. after putting it in the coating dip it in the egg wash again and recoat.

Use crumbled Corn Flakes for the breading. The crispest chicken or anything in the world. NO precooking, it’s a NO NO.
