One day I was shopping for some chicken liver and the store had about 20 cases. The next day their was no more chicken liver. 4 weeks passed and still I could find no chicken liver. I would like to know why the store doesn’t sell the liver no more. It makes me wonder about how many people in America eats liver.

I love chicken livers but not that many do eat them. Most of the livers are bought by people using them to go catfish fishing but if the store had that many and didn’t have them any more, chances are that no one bought them and they had to be thrown out which is a loss to the store thus the reason they didn’t carry them any more.

I eat them regularly and they taste really good; though I do not think on what I am eating at the time. Catfish love them too, but they prefer them raw instead of fried.

I don’t but I’m sure you can find it in most stores.

I bet you seen the livers during the holidays didn’t you? They sell them then for dressing.I for one love fried chicken livers.Check with the manager at the store, you may have to get them from the frozen meats section now.And then again they may only have them during the holidays.I lived in the South for all my life and they were available all over…Not so here in Ca….

If you want to fry them to make a chopped liver pate that pate itself is available pre-made in the frozen food section of a lot of supermarkets (at least it is her in New England).
If not try the gourmet food section of places like Trader Joes.
