thats your call, bacteria starts to grow 1 hour after being left out. If its slimy or smells bad, throw it out. make sure you reheat it well as well.

just put it on a micro safe plate and heat it thoroughly!! It should be ok.
I am assuming you have AC and do not live in a place that is 90 degrees most of the night?
Food safety experts will tell you that if you left it out after dinner for more than 5 minutes that you should toss it in the trash. That is you didn’t put it up immediately when everyone finished eating and before washing the dishes.
I don’t happen to agree with them. Food Safety is when you forget and leave it in the micro til tonight then discover it!!

Bacteria grow quickly, especially when warm. If you cook it hot enough it will die but you are most likely to burn it, releasing acrylamide which is itself not very good for you. It’s your choice of risk assessment but I myself wouldn’t.

You probably need an answer from someone who actually knows about food spoilage, but, me, I’d go ahead and eat it. Zapping it again in the micro ought to kill any bugs that have taken up residence. If it was broccoli, on the other hand, I’d probably throw it out!

It should be just fine. If it looks good, smells good, it is good. Fortunate for you that it was left in the microwave—shouldn’t be dried out.

Cook the food on high in the microwave, and taste a little pice if it tastes ok then eat it, if not toss it or you could look it up on

In food service we have a saying, “When in doubt, throw it out”.

No matter what kind of answers you might get, here in Yahoo Answers, would you want to take a chance on yours, or your family’s HEALTH by “trying” to serve it.
Toss it out and just consider it a lesson learned. The cost of wasted food is a LOT less than the finacial, and emotional cost of food poisening.
People COULD die. Don’t allow it to be you.

I never eat chicken that has been left out over 4 or 5 hours. Overnight? I wouldn’t even question it.
Throw it out.

When in doubt, throw it out is good advice, but more often than not it will be fine if it was fully-cooked the first time.
