It depends on how many people applied and it really depends on the single employer!
My sister applied for KFC and didn’t get the job and said that it took them about a week to reply and tell her she didn’t get the job. I’m from VIC by the way.
Even if you don’t get the job, don’t stress there’s a lot more opportunities out there and in my state KFC generally pays poorly compared to Coles, Safeway, Target etc.
