Because they want evryone to buy their chicken, it’s a bussiness and they want as many costumers as they want, swet home alabam is a famous song, well recognized by both young and old and it’s very catchy too, so they use it to promote their chicken and get as many people to buy it.

Cause it’s catchy and everyone will pay attention and run out to buy their chicken.

It is a little convoluted so stick with me. KFC was founded in Kentucky which is also home to Shaun Alexander (MVP). Alexander left Kentucky to play college ball in Alabama. When Shaun made it to the pros with the Seahawks when he scored a Touchdown the stadium would play Sweet Home Alabama. Shaun is now trying to return to Kentucky to play for the Cincinnati Bengals. Hence, the KFC’s Sweet Home Alabama commercial. Things always come full circle.
