Is it ok to store fried chicken under a couch cushion?

fried chicken
SCRACER1 asked:

I recently went to a friends house and she wanted me to haul off her old couch with my truck. I lifted the cushions off the couch and she had several full uneatin pieces of fried chicken under the cusions.

Does anyone else do this? If so, is it a good place to keep fried chicken warm?

I am sure the offending meat got left there during some kind of party, i wouldn’t think someone would do it on purpose. It is never good to keep food under the cushions

It is not safe to store food that way and dangerous to eat it after being left out after a long period of time whether in a couch or on the kitchen countertop. The fridge is the best place. You can nuke it when you want to eat a piece. I am sure there are other people on the planet that do this, but it seems like the couch would get pretty greasy doing double duty.

I think you’re not taking this seriously enough. Seriously. I read a book once about a girl having an affair with a Chicken… someone found out and he needed to be “taken care of”.

…..where else would you keep the body?/?

This could be a serious murder scene.
