I would imagine it contains black and white peppers, plus garlic, salt, onion powder, oregano, marjoram, basil, mustard seed, chili powder or cumin, and thyme. That’s my best guess from what I can remember of the taste. I’m sure of the black pepper, garlic, salt, onion powder, chili powder, and thyme, and pretty sure of white pepper, oregano, mustard seed. Basil and marjoram are mostly guesses. I know it has nothing containing nuts because my brother has anaphalaxic nut allergies and we loved KFC when we were younger.

curry powder, allspice, chopped tarragon, chervil, chives, parsley, garlic, cayenne pepper, 1 egg, and 1 cup flour. i saw a simple original recipe which had just pepper and msg. i read that the secret recipe is still secret. all of the above ingredients i got from searching the web for kfc recipe. i like church’s chicken the best, have you ever had that?
Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs
Then turn them over in regular bread crumbs (commercial)
Finally plunge them in the flour-spices mixture (above)
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Place chicken in a tray and cover with foil (shiny side out)
Cook 40 minutes.
Remove the foil then cook for another 40 minutes
Baste lightly with oil 5 minutes before the end
Let stand 5 minutes and serve.
