‘Cause the yankees who made the commercial envision the people who are watching the commercial believe Southerners are known for their ability to fry the heck out a chicken, and not much else, lol. Did you know KFC is BIG in Austrailia? Wonder if they play that commercial over there?
Gumbo is from La and Mobile, AL, not the South in general.

Because the people at the advertising agency did too much coke that day
