Planning on making vegetarian fried chicken — would this work?

fried chicken
♫La Fille♫ asked:

i have a lightlife cutlet which is like chicken only not, it’s soy, so it should cook the same. i plan to cut it up in small bits and fry them. if i mix bread crumbs with either ricemilk, almond milk or canola oil (which would work best or any other suggestions) and then fry it in a pan would it work? what do you recommend?

I would cut it to small. Say the size of your palm. And don;t mix the rice milk with the bread crumbs but rather dip in flour first (to make a nice working surface) then dip in the rice milk, then the crumbs-repeat the soy milk and crumbs if desired. Then fry.
