Without! Gravy would ruin all the crispiness you worked so hard to achieve. Side dishes should be seasonal. Right now corn on the cob, watermelon, pasta/potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans… Save the mashed potatoes and gravy for the warmer months. Just check out what KFC does and then make your own!

when chicken is fried you don’t need gravy or dip it would ruin the crispiness.
You can serve it with steamed veggies or oven baked potatoes.

I sometimes dip mine in gravy, but I wouldn’t cover it in gravy, def serve gravy on the side though. Mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, fries, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, glazed carrots, mixed veggies (corn, carrots, peas etc…), green beens with onion and bacon.
Or pasta salad, baked beans and coleslaw if it’s for an outside meal.

On a fried chicken dish gravy is used on mashed potatoes but putting on the chicken would make the breading a dusgusting mush.
Best sides: cole slaw, corn on the cob mashed potatoes potato salad, macaroi salad, and of course waffles (if you haven’t heard of this research it. there are restaurants that specialize in Fried chicken and waffles

without the gravy, definately. serve your gravy with a side of mashed potatoes. Also add some salad to even out all the fat.

Gravy and Mashed potato. Any bitter greens go well too. Asparagus, collard greens, spinach, brussels sprouts.

Make milk gravy with the chicken skillet and serve it on mashed potatoes, with corn, green beans or peas on the side, maybe some cornbread or biscuits and maybe some coleslaw.

Fried chicken should never be served with gravy atop, it ruins the crispness, if you want to serve it, always on the side.
Best sides are homemade mac n cheese, mash, cornbread or green beans.

Whoa! Why go to all the trouble of making fried chicken if you are going to throw out the best part…the gravy that you make out of the pan drippings in the bottom of your cast iron skillet? Not very healthy but neither is fried chicken…lol. Never have gravy for the chicken, its for the sides. I make a San Francisco style rice dish from scratch, ladle a bit of homemade gravey on top and you are in heaven. Add a veg and dinner is served.
