kfc
Dowland asked:

Am I paranoid, obsessed, or what? Why is it that KFC Taiwan doesn’t have coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, and that wonderful gravy which KFC branches in the Philippines have? Why, why, why Delilah??

Is it just me, or are there others out there who share the same sentiment? More importantly, how do I get KFC Taiwan to listen? I have given them my comments twice before but never got one single reply. It’s my hunch that maybe I contacted the wrong window?

Btw, what’s the KFC like in other countries?

Thanks,
Mad For Fried Chicken
Alex, the least KFC could do is give it a trial run, and see how it goes.
Chris, I don’t eat KFC everyday, so please calm down. (^_^)
Wendy’s, thanks for the offer. I just hope when it gets here, maggots have not already begun ahead of me.
Druids, I should have addressed you earlier. For the side dishes, KFCT only have salad with the usual dressings of Caesar’s, Thousand Islands, and the Japanese Dressing. They also have bisquits, which must be the cousin of scones because they look almost the same, but with bisquits it’s golden fried (I think.) Corn is also a mainstay in the menu. Mexican rolls have also become popular recently. For desserts, it’s tarts, tarts and tarts, and they come in many flavors!!

* Unfortunately with the bisquits, you can’t eat more than one, because they clog in the throat with all that raspy oil. I wonder if I’m the only who ever experienced this?? As for the salads, they change it now & then, and it’s mostly satisfactory, along with the steamed corn. Now the Mexican Rolls, there’s nothing remarkable about them. I’m sure many people here will agree. That’s about it.
Wakaiivp, you told me before that you’re in the Emirates, care to share what makes the Kentucky there “damn good”?
Beautiful Blue Sky, thanks for the input, and maybe you’re right. Maybe I am looking at the other side of the fence….. Actually, it’s not that I don’t appreciate Taiwanese cuisine, it’s just that I miss the flavors of KFC Phils.. Btw, when you order a chicken meal in Korea, do they automatically give you the spicy or the original? Here, they automatically give you the spicy.

Light/Dark Thinker asked:

‘Cause I sure don’t! Okay I’m a beginner when it comes to cooking. I’ve tried out some type of fried chicken before with some seasoning, but it never tasted as good as the ones my mom makes. I want to learn how to make all types of fried chicken. So if you’re willing to share with me what you know on how to cook fried chicken, then THANKS! ^_^ Also… about how much time should the chicken sit on one side? Should I drown the chicken in oil lol? High, medium, low heat??? What kind of oil do you recommend to cook it with. Thanks for those who help out! :D

Zaku asked:

What is the best way to prepare chicken at home to have a nice crispy crust while keeping the chicken tender and juicy inside?

I sound like a commercial almost, but have always had trouble making good fried chicken at home, any thoughts are appreciated.

This stereotype may be one of the stupidest. I have heard it over and over again, but have yet to find one person, no matter what race or color, who does not like fried chicken and watermelon. Do you like fried chicken or watermelon? If so why?

SCRACER1 asked:

I recently went to a friends house and she wanted me to haul off her old couch with my truck. I lifted the cushions off the couch and she had several full uneatin pieces of fried chicken under the cusions.

Does anyone else do this? If so, is it a good place to keep fried chicken warm?

I have a bag of frozen chicken thighs that are fried. They are pre-packaged that way. The directions say to pressure fry them. I want to bake them. How can I make sure that they come out cooked all the way through and still come out crispy? Please help….
