I thought it was kind of naughty to play Sweet Home Alabama as the theme music for the ads, considering the song was written in rebuttal to a song opposing racism (Alabama, by Neil Young). Also, it’s Kentucky Fried Chicken, not Alabama Fried Chicken.
Actually, Sweet Home was written in response to both Southern Man and Alabama, but I had meant to say Southern Man instead.
Redmarc316, I believe you are right, and I do feel the same way. I also think the ****** music in the ads is intentional, but I could be wrong.
Rev JESSEE, that’s not true. They also have music from a song that was written as a negative response to two songs by Neil Young which decried racism.
