TRUE OR FALSE: ” Kentucky ” from Kentucky Fried Chicken has absolutely nothing to do with Kentucky?
Bumble asked:
When trying to come up with something to describe Sander’s chicken … Harland’s friend opted for a word to make it sound more southern…. The word Kentucky is basically all about an image and has nothing at all to do with the state…
The Sander’s lived there in Kentucky, that is where their restaurant was and the forumula for the KFC chicken started. I happened to watch a show on this on the Travel Channel yesterday.

True- Although Sanders had a restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky, the choice of the name Kentucky Fried Chicken was just a marketing tool used by the first franchisee to sell Sanders’ product at his restaurant in Utah.
