KFC and All Fried Chicken

I don’t know but KFC is not good. It’s cheaply made and doesnt have much of a taste other than deep fried chicken and salt

It has was analyzed years ago in a lab and the crust contained salt, pepper and Mono Sodium Glutamate, a flavor enhancer. I can’t taste any herbs in it at all. They use MSG in almost all of their meat foods.

I doubt they actually are herbs and spices, more like food additives and artificial flavorings. The flour they use to coat the chicken is prepackaged they don’t make it on spot everyday.

I’ve heard that it’s not 11 herbs and spices, that it’s actually just MSG.
I know MSG is supposed to be bad for you, but I use it for some veggies…in my opinion it does make stuff taste better. That said, I doubt it’s JUST MSG, because IIRC I’ve seen black specks when I use to eat KFC (which I haven’t done in 9 years or so–not since I went vegetarian).

Then again, I’ve read that the secret recipe was moved recently (like from one safety deposit box to another one)…so there might actually be 11 herbs and spices. What do I know? I never worked at KFC (although I’m sure whatever 11 herbs and spices or MSG or whatever they use comes in a package that says “secret recipe” or something and they just add it to the batter or whatever…)

Even at KFC branches the staff do not know, I’m told the herb and spice mix is delivered UNLABELLED.

when they changed the oil they fried the chicken in, i stopped buying that stuff. i thought the taste was completly different and not worth me going out to get it. personally, i think its all just hype anyway.
