They buy it from a number of domestic producers, among them Perdue. My next-door neighbor, a retired farmer, used to sell his birds to a packing plant which in turn sold them to KFC.

Wherever it can get it cheapest. No not China. Probably Arkansas, Mississippi or wherever they can get it cheapest. We can still raise chickens fairly cheaply in this country. China has too many mouths to feed and is not too good at exporting meat and poultry.
