My first job was at KFC, and they don’t tell us what the secret recipe is. It comes already preped, in a bag. It’s not like we are back there measuring spices, it’s fast food!

“Secret” recipes like this are sent from the corporate commissary to the store premixed. The only thing done in the store is apply and cook per specifications.
BTW, a large part of the KFC spec is _pressure frying_. Pressure frying forces the spice mixture into the meat plus it makes the resultant chicken portions very tender.
you can accomplish this with a common pressure cooker but it can be very dangerous if you overload the pan.

Why do you buy KFC? Because you are to lazy to make it yourself. Restaurant don’t have the monopoly on awesome tasting food, the only reason they make money is because we’re lazy.
Everyone knows, or can know the secret recipes of these restaurants…but then what? Whose gonna make it for you?

Its a premade mix, and the recipe is kept in a safe. You know, KFC Original Recipe was much more tasty back in the 1960’s. I was a little boy, but I recall it was very juicy and tasty.
