My cat is the same way, he won’t even touch tuna or milk… geez, try to spoil him and he won’t even let me, such a turd.

Cat’s are finicky and have very distinctive likes and dislikes. That’s what makes them such special pets.

That very same thing has befuddled me as well, particularly if you feel you’re giving them a treat.
But if I was gonna hazard a guess, on top of being picky, I think they also appreciate routine. Routine being the food they are given 90% of their lives.
The exceptions for my two are tuna juice, moist cat food and cat snacks (some do better than others).
You have my sympathy about running out of food and trying to sub and it getting rejected in favor of starving themselves.

Some cats are picky eaters. They are plain moody.

my cat is the same way she will not eat any thing but cat food and i think that it might be because she dose not like it.

Cats are not like dogs that eat almost anything. although it sounds like u just ran out of food, dont get into the habit of giving them anything but catfood, it has vitamins and minerals made especially for cats. dont give your cat milk, thats just in cartoons and movies. the dont digest it easily. cats prefer the smelly food as opposed to your turkey. Most of all, why did u run outof food? do u run out of food for yourself? do u wait until ur car is out of gas, then go to the gas station? if it was a baby, which ur cat kinda is, would u run out of food. Be a lil more resonsible and less lazy.
