Would it be funny if I serve fried chicken with hash brown?
Persian cat lover asked:
My husband is coming home in a few hours and I made fried chicken and hash brown… I wonder if he’ll think the dish is too dry and greasy….? I have frozen corns too.. should I serve chicken with corns?
The plural of corn is corn. That’s a lot of starch. Add a green vegetable or a salad.

Corn would be good. Drain the hash browns and fried chicken on paper towels so it won’t be so greasy.

It sounds good to me!
If you want to do corn as well, that also sounds tasty, but it should be fine just the chicken and hash browns.

The corn is good with the fried chicken and hash browns, but you NEED a good vegetable or fruit, too … try a green salad or a ‘fruit salad’ which will also provide something ‘wetter’ so the meal doesn’t seem too dry. I LOVE fried chicken and hash browns, and my husband makes them for me occasionally … he is the ‘cook’ in our house nowadays.

Chicken and corn is a good idea. Save the browns for another meal.
